Volunteers Give a Child a Chance
For a child with disabilities, therapeutic horseback riding is much more than just riding around an arena. It is a way to discover a whole new world of adventure, freedom, responsibility, dignity and excitement. More importantly, it provides an overwhelming sense of accomplishment for everyone involved — riders, VOLUNTEERS, parents and instructors.
We welcome new volunteers and encourage them to become involved in whatever area of our program fits them best.
HELP OUT AROUND THE BARN
Our volunteers are our ambassadors to the community, and we encourage them to tell everyone they meet about SPIRIT.
For those who love horses and children, but who might not feel comfortable working with the horses and riders right away, we can always use help in the operational side of our program.
We can always use help organizing and putting on events, manning information booths at other organizations’ events, doing public relations, working on fund raising drives, and doing office administration.
If you have the time to give, we have a place for you. Come look upon our shining SPIRIT and help make a disabled rider’s wish come true.
